I have known Sara and Dylan for a while now and to say I was excited when I saw their email come through about photographing their wedding is a understatement! Not only was I going to be able to photograph their wedding but I also had the opportunity to work with some amazing vendors on a dreamy summer day in Ontario. It was a hot, sweaty day but we had so much fun! It was absolutely perfect!
I think my favourite part of shooting this wedding was sneaking out during the reception and getting some golden hour photos at sunset! It’s such a dreamy time to capture photos and I’m so glad we were able to fit this in! Lots of couple try to schedule some extra photos with their “first look” but so many don’t even realize we can also sneak in some extra pictures mid reception!
Some of the benefits to taking golden hour photos:
- You’re able to take some time away from the reception and just be together, alone!
- Golden hour provides amazing, lighting that is so flattering and romantic
- You can shoot anywhere without hiding from the harsh sun
- Provides extra images
- You can get more creative at this time
- The photos always turning out AMAZING!
How perfect are those photos?! The golden sun, the blurred soft background, its just so dream and romantic. I’m so happy with how they turned out!
