Maternity photos are a wonderful way to capture the beauty and joy of pregnancy. I know sometimes you might be hesitant or self conscious about being photographed during this time, but these photos will be a cherished memory to look back on for years to come! You’ll be so glad you took the time to capture these images.

Another reason to take maternity photos is that they can be a beautiful way to celebrate and honor the bond between a mother and her unborn child. These photos can capture the excitement and anticipation of waiting for a new arrival. They’re also a wonderful way to boost self-confidence and feel beautiful during a time when women may feel physically and emotionally vulnerable. I will capture the beauty and grace of pregnancy and help you feel confident and proud of your changing body.

I’m often asked – should I schedule my maternity session outside or in studio? and while outdoor photos can be beautiful and offer unique scenery, in-studio photography provides several advantages that make it an appealing option for many people.
Here are some reasons why you might choose an in-studio session over an outdoor session:
- Control over lighting: One of the biggest advantages of in-studio photography is that you can have complete control over the lighting. This means that you can create the exact look and feel that you want, without having to worry about the sun setting or clouds (or smoke!) rolling in.
- Comfort: In-studio photography can also be more comfortable than outdoor photography, especially if you’re taking photos in extreme weather conditions. When you’re in a studio, you can adjust the temperature, have access to a comfortable chair or couch, and have a restroom nearby.
- Privacy: In-studio photos can provide a greater degree of privacy, which can be important depending on the type of photos you are shooting!
- No distractions: When you’re taking photos outside, there are often distractions that can affect the quality of your photos. This could include people or cars passing by, animals or insects, or even the weather. In-studio photography eliminates these distractions, allowing you to focus solely on capturing the perfect shot.
- More creative freedom: In-studio photography provides more creative freedom than outdoor photography because you can create any kind of setting you want. You can choose the background, props, and lighting to create a unique and personalized look for your photos.
