I was ecstatic about this session when Caroline and Evan approached me about scheduling it at Fish Creek Park in Calgary, at sunset. I mean, is there anything dreamier then a romantic photoshoot at sunset? I don’t think so! I’ll take any opportunity to shoot at sunset or golden hour. I’ve even recommend to my brides and grooms to try and sneak away for a quick 20 minutes, mid-reception to get some beautiful golden hour photos!
Fish Creek Park is such a versatile location. There are so many different areas, each setting a completely different tone. You’ll see as you scroll through these photos, they start in a forest type setting, move to a bridge over a stream, we eventually found a field that was just perfect with the setting sun in the background and ended at a less densely wooded area.
Caroline and Evan will be getting married this winter. I can’t wait to see their love unfold on that day. This engagement session is merely a preview of what is to come with their wedding shoot. I enjoyed capturing their love, a simple embrace, a tender kiss, f goofy piggy-back, this session has it all!
